Hand Mudras are most beneficial and easiest way to be healthy. Its harmless and you can take advantage of the Hand Mudras by doing it anytime, like while you are walking, watching TV, reading or doing any work. Yes, it’s true! So here are the benefits you can get by doing Hand Mudras;

Rudra Mudra

Explanation: Bring the tips of index finger and ring finger together on top of the tip of thumb, with other fingers place upright comfortably. (DONE WITH BOTH HANDS)

(3) Brings clarity in one’s thought and helps in positive thinking.

Prithvi Mudra

Explanation: Bring the tip of the ring finger and place it on top of the tip of the thumb. Extend all the other fingers and keep them comfortably straight as possible.

Shankha Mudra

Explanation: The left thumb should be held in the right fist and then the left indoex finger should touch the right thumb. Put light pressure with the remaining fingers of the left hand onto the closed fist fo the right hand. Swap over sides.

(2) Helps curing all types of throat infections
(3) Increases the strengthening and creating more blood vessels
(4) Builds strong muscular system
(5) Helps in proper digestion
(6) Good for the people who are in the occupation of acting and singing, because it enhances the vocal chords.

Varuna Mudra

Explanation: Bring the thumb down on little finger so that the tip of the thumb touches to the tip of the little finger. Keep all remaining three fingers comfortably straight.

Its benefits:

(1)   To augment beauty

(2)   Helps removing impurities from the blood by balancing the water content

(3)   Helps repair damaged skin and restores moisture.

(4)   Cures painful cramps during menstruation

(5)   Prevents the pain of muscle shrinkage and Gastroenteritis.

Vayu Mudra

Explanation: Bring the index finger on to the base of the thumb and then press it with the thumb. Keep all the remaining three fingers comfortably straight. And it should be done for 45 minutes.

(1) Helps in curing rheumatism
(2) Cures backache
(3) Flexiblizes stiffness in the neck
(4) Helps recover knee pain
(5) Cures Gout
(6) Helps in recovering all types of joint pain in hands and feet
(7) Cures paralysis
(8) Cures panic or hysteria

Shunya Mudra

Explanation: Bring the middle finger on to the mount of Venus and then press it with the thumb. Keep all remaining three fingers comfortably straight. It should be done 40 to 60 minutes daily until the disease is cured.

(3) Cures vertigo (an internal ear problem, caused by the disturbed fluid inside the ear)
(4) Cures Numbness in the body

Apan Mudra
Explanation: Place tips of thumb, middle finger and ring finger together in each hand.

(DONE WITH BOTH HANDS)

(2) Cures all types of gall bladder problems
(3) Removes all the wastes products from the body
(4) Helps in releasing toxic products from the body

Linga Mudra

Explanation: Join the palms in front of the chest and lock the facing fingers together keeping the thumbs of both the hands upright. Hold them in this posture for 3 minutes then release and repeat this mudra twice.

(1) Helps in losing weight
(2) Helps cure colds and coughs
(3) Makes the lungs strong
(4) Helps in proper digestion

(It should be made sure that plenty of water is consumed as Linga Mudra generates heat in your body.

Surabhi Mudra

Explanation: Join the little finger and ring finger and then join the middle finger and index finger together. This posture can also be called “The Cow Posture” beecause the mudra makes cloven hooves of one’s hand.,

(1) Stops aching inflammation
(2) Sharpens your intellect

Surahi Mudra

Explanation: Join the little finger of one hand with the ring finger of the other and vice versa. In the same way join the forefinger with the middle finger of the other hand and vice versa. Leave your thumbs free.

(1) Helps cure rheumatic inflammation
(2) Helps cure cold and types of viral fever
(3) Helps sharpens your intellect
