If you will get proper massage to your hands, it will be benefited for your whole body. Most of us visit the massage centers quite often to get completely relaxed from the excessive work that we come across every single day. Massages are supposed to relax our muscles right from the innermost tissues. As the muscles relax and increase the blood circulation, we get relieved from the pains that our body experiences and thus relaxes us properly in the most utmost manner. But, if you don’t get the massage therapy in the perfect manner, instead of getting relaxed, you might even suffer from the most painful muscular aches. Thus, it gets very important that you get the best massage for your body.

Amongst the various parts of our body, we use our hands the most. But while getting a massage, massaging our hands gets out of our concern. Thus, to massage your hands by yourself, here are a few points that will help you ease your hands from the pain that one suffers from the daily work.

Hand Massage techniques are very simple to learn but, extremely difficult when you need to perform them. You need to be perfect while massaging as any wrong point that you press can cause a lot of pain. You should know which technique should be followed and when. Thus, a brief about the various hand massage techniques are given here below.

Rubbing: This is one of the simplest techniques that most of us are aware of. You should begin by initially rubbing your hands briskly together so as to warm them and create some energy within them. You should also rub the back of your hands properly with each other so that they also get warm enough before the main process of massage is started.

Squeezing: Using the thumbpad of your thumb and the outer tip of the index finger, squeeze each finger and the thumbs of the other hand using very moderate force from the base to the tip. The pressure should not be very painful for you. Do this for about 2-3 times per finger.

Pulling: Pulling, is another important part of massaging. For pulling, you should use the thumbpad and the outside edge of your index finger for grasping the base of your fingers and thumb of the other hand. Perform this one by one on all your fingers and thumb and then pull down towards the tip. At the same time, you should maintain the same force on the fingers. Perform this for about 2-3 times on all your fingers. To relax our muscles, it is recommended that the fingers should be pulled in every few hours. It is also one easy way of hand massage techniques. Also, make sure that you pull your fingers in a very gentle and careful manner otherwise it may cause pain.

Pressing: Another important part of massaging is pressing the various points properly. Thus, using the thumbnail of your hand, press the various points of your other hand to stimulate them. For a better result, follow the printable hand reflexology chart so as to find the pressure points on your hand. On these points, apply a vertical pressure through your fingers. Apply a force that can be resisted well and not that is higher than the comfortable pain. Hold these pressure points and then with the small and slow circular movements, knead these points. This is a very important part and so needs to be followed for about 1-2 minutes per point. Perform this for 1-2 times in a single day.
