Yoga For Your Gawking Eyes Due To Computer Stress

You are happy when you get work in a reputed company… you are happy that you are working on the latest of technology. You regularly work for hours on your laptop or personal computers for hours to complete a task or two to meet the deadlines or even dating online, playing computer games etc. And already have chances of having eyeglasses… Does the antiglare specs really do wonder to your eye strain?

In such a lost state of minds, you tend to gaze at the computer screen for hours… you can’t afford to divert your attention from the task and the hence from the lit screen of your computer. Computer screen radiate despite low intensities or calibrations. Alike your arms and fingers, neck and shoulders, your eyes too get tired due to constant look intently towards the screen and the keyboards.

The following Yoga will certainly benefit you:

  1. Just be seated up-straight on the chair or where you are already sitting.
  2. Relax for two minutes
  3. Now rub your two palms together. This will generate heat and warm up your palms. Do not wash your face.
  4. Close your eyes now or you can even close your eyes while you are rubbing the palms.
  5. Now cup your eyes with these palms and count 10 breathing deep in and out.
  6. Repeat as necessary

Also you can be seated as you are… and now look straight for a few seconds, relaxed. Then to your right and then to left… now up to the ceiling and then on to floor…

Slowly move your eye balls like this… and repeat. This will provide the much needed exercise to your strained eye balls and relax.

But, it’s sometimes a bit scary using these chemical based products fearing the various types of chemical reactions that might probably burst out on the skin. The dark circles slowly happen to lighten with the daily application of the cream.
  • Sleep: Sleep is very essential for a good health. However, it is considered to be extremely essential for people having dark circles. Thus, it is said that you should have a minimum of 8 hours sleep every day.
  • Cucumber or potato: Another home remedy that you can follow to get rid of your dark circles is that of placing slices of raw potato or cucumber on the eye lids for about 15-20 minutes. After you apply it, wash your face with warm water and then apply a dark circle removing cream.
  • Cucumber juice: Cucumber is one great remedy for dark circles. Just grate one cucumber and then squeeze out the juice and refrigerate it. Now mix in it lemon juice, and lanolin cream and then apply it around your eyes everyday for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Lemon juice: Lemon juice is another herbal way to treat dark circles from under the skin. Simply apply lemon juice on the dark circles about twice a day.
  • Turmeric: A paste of turmeric powder along with some pineapple juice in it is also a simple remedy to get rid of the dark circles.
  • Mint magic: Crush a few mint leaves and place them under your eyes.
  • Almond oil: Apply some almond oil on the dark circles under your eyes daily. This is known to slowly remove the dark circles.
  • Reduce vitamin A intake: Many a times, an overdose of vitamin A medications like Retin A in our body produces excessive vascularization.
  • Niacinamide cream: A derivative of vitamin niacin, niacinamide is experienced to show certain effective skin lightening effects on our skin. The derivative lightens the regions with hyperpigmentation and thus treats problems like dark circles etc. Thus, moisturizers with about five percent niacinamide are applied on the dark circles to get rid of them permanently.
  • Almond cream: Almond is considered to be a great food for a glowing skin. Thus almond cream is considered to be one very excellent medication for the skin. Apply the medication for 10 minutes and then wash it with warm water. Always remember, that the skin near our eyes is very sensitive and so, no cream should be left for long durations on the skin.
