Acupuncture Produces Amazing Results In Reversing Infertility

03.04.2010 · Posted in Acupuncture, Chinese Health

acupuncture-techniqueAcupuncture is the procedure of inserting and manipulating filiform needles into various points on the body to relieve pain or for therapeutic purposes.
In the early 1900s, only a few Western physicians who had visited China were fascinated by acupuncture, but outside of Asian-American communities it remained virtually unknown until the 1970s, when Richard Nixon became the first U.S. president to visit China.
Acupuncture is a good available treatment for infertility. But as you’ll see here, it’s actually one of the safest and most effectiveness treatments for infertility known to modern science. This is what people go for when nothing works, including medicines.
Why does it work so well? Because infertility isn’t usually Any physical problem. It’s often an issue related to circulation or energy channels that govern the vitality of your body’s organs (including reproductive organs). Rebalancing those bioelectric channels can create enormous healing changes in the function of your reproductive organs.

Acupuncture is non-invasive, surprisingly. The needles themselves are virtually painless and barely enter the skin. That’s a huge contrast to the highly invasive (and embarrassing) probing, inserting, extracting, injecting and poking around typically undertaken by conventional infertility clinics.

A study found that auricular acupuncture was capable of producing results comparable to those of drug therapy in the treatment of infertility.
Chinese acupuncture has been used in the treatment of infertility for centuries. The first published account of this is seen in medical literature dating back to 11 A.D. The Chinese look at five principal organs – the liver, spleen, heart, lung, and kidney – and use acupuncture to release blockages from these systems so that energy or chi can move freely. This helps the body return to good health. Promoting fertility is one benefit that can be obtained. Acupuncture to kidney points releases psychological blocks that interfere with reproduction.

Twenty-two pregnancies and no side effects! Finally, a study at the Fertility Clinic Trianglen in Denmark concluded that acupuncture significantly improves the reproductive outcome of IVF (in vitro fertilization) and ICSI (intra cytoplasmic sperm injection) compared to no acupuncture. The best of all, acupuncture for infertility is truly a whole person treatment that looks at the woman as much more than just a dysfunctional reproductive system.

The term “acupuncture” describes a family of procedures involving the stimulation of anatomical points on the body using a variety of techniques. The acupuncture technique that has been most often studied scientifically involves penetrating the skin with thin, solid, metallic needles that are manipulated by the hands or by electrical stimulation.
Acupuncture, frequently combined with herbal medicine, has been used for centuries to treat some causes of infertility. For example, acupuncture and herbs will not work to address tubal adhesions which can occur as a result of pelvic inflammatory disease or endometriosis. However, in this situation, an individual could still benefit from acupuncture and herbs because of the potential effect of improved ovarian and follicular function. Additionally, it is shown that acupuncture can increase blood flow to the endometrium, helping to facilitate a thick, rich lining.

Acupressure-An Introduction

acupressure points, chinese acupuncture, expert guidanceThese words are especially meant for those who usually get confused between acupressure and acupuncture because these two terms sound a lot similar. However, I would like to state that there is lot of difference between the two terminologies both in terms of theory and practice. Acupuncture means the inserting of those needles that are specially designed and crafted to be pierced within your body. Now this is to be done at specific point with great care and caution under expert guidance and supervision.

Acupressure is an ancient art of healing the human body with the use of fingers, hands and sometimes even the elbow. These fingers as well as other parts of the body are skillfully used to press those pressure points that automatically stimulate the body’s natural ability to cure and get rid of those headaches and migraines and even body pain.

Both acupuncture and acupressure, in spite of being different have something in common. The Chinese acupuncture seems to be the origin of both modern acupuncture and acupressure. The difference between the two is how the two therapies are administered to the patients. Instead of needles and pins that are inserted in acupuncture, we find that in acupressure some physical pressure is applied to certain pressure points of the body.

This practice works on the principle of different pressure points that are present in the human body. It’s these pressure points that when met with some force or some pressure would automatically get some relief from those stress or those headaches. There are different acupressure points in the human body and an ordinary person like you and I would never know as to where they are located. This surely needs to be under expert guidance and advice. And that is why it would be highly recommendable to go to an expert who is really associated with a good reputation and image for providing excellent acupressure services.

There are different acupressure points in our body and it may or may not be in the same and exact location as that of the acupuncture. This is especially for all those of you who have witnessed and undergone different sessions under both these practices.  I am sure this would be the first thing on your mind.
