An asthma attack can cause such shortness of breath and poor oxygen intake that person may need to be hospitalized.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The causes of asthma can be many like exposure to certain allergens, pollen, features, dust, pollution, cigarette smoke, molds, animal dander, cold dry air, exercise, excitement, and stress. An asthma attack causes elevated breathing pattern, tightness of chest, coughing, wheezing and difficulty in breathing.</p>

1.	In the hollow below the collarbone next to the breastbone it relieves congestion in chest, breathing difficulties, coughing, anxiety and asthma.<br />
2.	On the external part of chest, three finger widths beneath the collarbone relieves from asthma, chest tension and congestion, coughing and breathing difficulty.<br />
3.	On the palm side of the hand in the middle of the pad at the bottom of the thumb relieves from coughing, shallow breathing and swollen throat.<br />
4.	In the groove at the wrist fold below the base of the thumb relieves from lung problems, asthma and coughing.<br />
5.	One finger width below the upper tip of the shoulder blade, between the spine and the scapula relieves from asthma, severe muscle spasms in the shoulders and neck.<br />
6.	If you have a lot of phlegm, softly press and massage the point on the outside rim of the leg bone, halfway between the tip of the anklebone and the center of the knee- cap for one minute.<br />
7.	If you feel suffocated and short of breath, softly press the point right in the middle between the nipples for men, and between fourth and fifth ribs on the midline for women. Do this for one minute.<br />
8.	With your thumb and fingers to gently, metrically, slowly grasp and release the front muscles of the neck along the trachea for one minute.</p>
