reiki-treatment-and-its-effectEver heard the word Reiki? Well, Reiki, as we all know is an ancient Japanese technique that was and is also being used till date to treat the various disorders and ailments. The treatment was used to promote relaxation, stress reduction and also the healing of the various ailments. The reiki treatment was applied by the simple touch of hand of the reiki practitioner on the patient’s body. The whole treatment is based on the idea of the “life force energy” which is believed to flow all through our body and is the main reason due to which we are alive. The treatment heals this energy of the patients and thus cures them of their problems.

In the reiki treatment, the reiki energy flows not just from the healer’s body into the specific individual, but flows from the numerous unlimited sources of light energy which are even beyond the understanding of the human mind. This energy flows into our complete body and also into the various other things. The reiki energy, flows into our emotional, physical and even the mental part of our body. You can feel the change after reiki treatment.

The main purpose for reiki treatment to the patients is to increase or clear the energy channels if at all a blockage existed in them. The energy is basically passed on from the reiki practitioner’s hands which are placed at the specific locations of the body which correspond to the reiki chakras of the patient. The treatment mainly depends on the practitioner and his energy power. Depending on this, the reiki practitioner can either heal a patient by touching him or by sending his powers by his thoughts or by the power of his mind.

Before we start with the reiki treatment, there are a few very important things about the treatment and the equipments used in the treatment that we should also know about. These important topics have been listed here below which includes:

• The physical purification.
• Emotional purification.
• Mental purification.
• Spiritual purification.
• And finally, the distance treatment.

Each of these points plays a very crucial role in the reiki treatment that is provided by the practitioner to the patients.
The Reiki treatment room:

The treatment room is an important part of the treatment as it is the room which most primarily makes the patients feel comfortable and relaxed before the practitioner starts his treatment. But otherwise, the reiki treatment room is not very much required for providing the treatment to the patient. Reiki treatment can be applied in any room but a simple room with the right lights makes the patient feel more comfortable and so, a special room can be used for the treatment. Here are a few things that are required in a reiki room which have been mentioned below.

• The room should be away from pollution and the highly noisy areas.
• It should be silent and peaceful.
• The treatment room should be safe, in a quiet atmosphere and relaxing. To make it more soothing, you can place plants, blinds over the windows, and soft colors on the walls.
• The lights in the treatment room should also be very light and dim such as the candles, etc. which will further help the clients to relax.

The equipments used in the treatment room are very simple and pleasing. The rooms usually consist of a massage table, pillows, rolling chair, blankets, and a music player for playing soft music. The massage table should be placed in such a place that you can easily move around it. To make the patient more comfortable, you can also have blankets and pillows in the room. reiki-historyReiki history is an interesting theory of spiritual world. Reiki, which is one of the spiritual practices concerned on developing spirituality, was founded by Dr. Mikao Usui. The Reiki system of natural healing is a Japanese technique used for reducing stress and gives relaxation to the body. “Rei” gives the meaning for God’s wisdom, and “ki” about life force energy. If there is not much stress or the guiding life force is very low then the body pains and soon results into sickness. Reiki is a simple and natural method for improving oneself that anybody can use. Reiki treats the whole body right from our feelings, emotions, tension and helps in developing ones confidence and also in attaining concentration.

Dr. Mikao Usui recommended that certain people in this world practice yoga, meditation and other techniques in order to feel relaxed but Reiki is one of those practices that is simple and has ethical ideals engaged in promoting peace and harmony which all of us need. During the practice of reiki he decided to add certain ideals which came from the five principles of Meiji, the Emperor of Japan. He did so because he wanted the people to realize that spiritual healing is more necessary and then experimenting this practice, helps us to live our life graciously.

In the Reiki treatment the patient is supposed to lie down or sit based on the treatment as the patient should feel very comfortable. While in yoga, the recipient has to sit in a position by stressing his legs which might be painful in their joints. There is no need of any equipment or ointment in reiki to treat any particular disorder. A reiki practitioner places his hands in a sequence of positions on the patient’s body and then slowly covers all the important places. The practice takes about an hour’s time in total.

The Reiki treatment helps in recovering the acute injuries and covers the various terminal illnesses. Since a disease spreads in the whole body, the reiki treatment can be practiced to support and bring back the energy balance in one’s life.

Importance Of Reiki Chakras In Treatment

10.08.2008 · Posted in Reiki

7 chakras, chakra, reiki practitioner, reiki treatment“Reiki Chakras” is basically a Sanskrit word that means “Wheel”.As we all know, reiki is a Japanese technique used to heal the various ailments and disorders by the touch of the reiki master or the reiki practitioner. To treat the various disorders it most primarily important to understand the chakras of reiki in our body.  The chakras are connected to our physical organs inside our body and also to the other layers of our body.

Chakra means a “wheel “which spins around its axis. The chakras spin according to the energy level of our body system. The chakras are situated at the various places in our body. The chakras can be said to be small but vital parts of our body which are also the crucial parts of a large network of sub-tile energies. The human body consists of the most important systems of our body such as the breathing, sensory, digestion, circulation, secretion and reproduction systems. Corresponding to these six systems, there are other six chakras for the bodily functioning of these systems. The brain of our body and the complete person also has one chakra which thus makes in total 7 chakras. These chakras are situated in the various positions such as the top of our head, forehead, throat, solar plexus, heart, naval and the bottom of the pelvis.

The activity of these 7 chakras in our body cause the various changes and activities in our body such as our body shape, the chronic physical ailments, various glandular processes, our thoughts and behavior. If under any circumstances or reasons, one or more chakras get blocked in our body it will affects the energy flowing through them. Thus, it will directly cause an imbalance in the various systems of our body and thus affect all the obvious areas of our life. Hence, one should be very careful and also take care of all the chakras in our body. During the reiki treatment, the chakras and position of the hands of the practitioner play a very crucial part in the healing of the patient.

Each and every chakra in our body corresponds to a specific organ of our body’s system.

  • Root chakra- Corresponds to the larger intestine and the rectum. The root charka also has certain control over the functions of the kidney.
  • Naval chakra- According to the reiki principles, the naval corresponds to the reproduction system of our body which includes the testicles, ovaries and also has an effect on the urinary bladder and the kidney.
  • Solar plexus chakra- This chakra is in association to the liver, small intestine, stomach, spleen and the gall bladder.
  • Heart chakra- The heart chakra influences and corresponds to the heart and the arms.
  • Throat chakra- The throat chakra corresponds to the respiratory system such as the lungs and the throat.
  • Forehead chakra- The forehead chakra is also termed as the third eye chakra as it is located on the forehead at the position of the third eye of Lord Shiva. This chakra corresponds and influences the brain, face, eyes, nose etc.
  • Crown chakra- This chakra is one of the most important chakras in our body. It doesn’t correspond to any particular system or organ but actually corresponds to the whole person.

According to the tradition and the principles of reiki, each of these chakras also corresponds to a particular gland of our body.

  • Root chakra- Corresponds to the adrenal gland.
  • Naval chakra- This chakra influences the ovaries or the testicles.
  • Solar plexus chakra- This chakra influences the pancreas.
  • Heart chakra- The heart chakra influences the thymus gland in our body.
  • Throat chakra- The throat chakra corresponds and influences the functioning of the thyroid gland in our body.
  • Forehead chakra- This chakra is connected to the pituitary gland of our body.
  • Crown chakra- Finally the crown chakra is connected to the pineal gland in our body.

Based on the years of study and research, it is clearly believed that the condition of the chakras directly affects the condition of its organ. The chakras in our body cause different types of reaction which mainly depends on the energy level in the reiki chakras. A chakra can be in a balanced state or active state or can be in an over active state or perhaps under active state. Reiki has the power to keep these energy chakras in a proper balance as well as keep the corresponding organs healthy.

The endocrine system is a major part in the proper functioning of all the organs in our body. It is known that the chakras, change their energy level from on to the other thus passing “Chi” or the energy to the whole body. All this according to the reiki researches and studies is done through the endocrine system which also helps to regulate the other systems of our body. The glands in our body secrete several hormones which flow directly into the bloodstream and also are responsible for the growth, development and the various other activities of our body. Most of the physical problems caused in our body, result due to the improper flow of energy in our system which is made of meridians and the 7 chakras.

Reiki Phenomenons – Yin and Yang

10.04.2008 · Posted in Reiki

chinese word,Reiki,yin and yang

The famous concept of Yin and Yang was originated in Chinese metaphysics, and symbolizes two opposing but complimentary forces, something which is found throughout all of nature.

Yin is often represented as earth or water, and is regarded as the receptive, feminine force. often it is misspelt as ying

Yang is represented by wind or fire, and is the imaginative, masculine opposite of Yin.

Though opposites, they are not absolutes, thus nothing can survive without each, and neither is better to the other, and you should find the proper balance of yin and yang in your own life.

There are many techniques of guided meditation that can help you in finding this balance. With the help of regular guided meditation, you can find that state of serene oneness which is the result of a good balance between yin and yang.

Qualities of yin are characterized as slow, soft, insubstantial, cold, wet, conserving, gentle, tranquil and corresponding to the night.

Qualities of yang are characterized as fast, hard, substantial, dry, excited, aggressive, hot and corresponding to the day.

Significantly, the concepts of “evil” and “good” are not applicable to the concepts of yin and yang. For e.g. darkness is neither good nor bad. This is because value judgments rely on applying such qualities to a definite situation.

Yin and yang explain the polar effects of phenomena. In viewing any one phenomenon, yin and yang explain the opposing qualities inbuilt in it. For e.g. summer and winter would be the yin and yang, respectively, of the year.

Yin and yang are basically two complementary qualities. That is to say, the yin and the yang aspect of any one phenomenon, when put together, will create the whole phenomenon. Yin and yang is a philosophy of duality. For this reason the Chinese word has no “and” between yin and yang – the term for all times signifies the two making up the one. In the example mentioned above, winter as well as summer makes up the entire year.
Tattoo Koi T-Shirt
This is called Yin -Yang T-shirt. This koi fish design has influences from both the Asian culture and tatoo design. This adult t-shirt is composed of 100% pre-shrunk cotton. Click here to buy the T-shirt.

The utmost effect of one quality will be pursued by the evolution toward the opposing quality. In other words, after the maximum aspect of yang has been manifested, like the long days of summer, this will be followed by the transition toward the Yin aspect, with reduction of the days as winter approaches.

Yin and yang are neither substances nor forces. They are the terms which are basically used in a system of dualistic qualification which can be applied universally.

The Five Principles of Reiki

10.03.2008 · Posted in Reiki

health,principle,Reiki

Reiki is such a vast subject. It based on some principles.

The five principles of Reiki are as follows:

1.      Just for today (Kyo Dake wa ) Don’t get angry (Okoru na): If we let the anger leave us, our mind will be at peace. Whenever someone gets angry we say that he/she has lost temper but we never say that he has gained temper. Now a person under the influence of the feeling of being angry can only lose some something but never gain anything. For the time being when the person is angry a person is sure to harm self as well as others.  It is a self destructive energy that harms the person who harbors it. Moreover anger relates to the past.

2.      Just for today (Kyo Dake wa ) Don’t worry  ( Shinpai suna): Worry is related to the future. The future in full of uncertainties.  The main cause of worry is thinking about what is going to happen in the future. It can be phobia of the future. One cannot say that worry is always a negative phenomenon. If person worries a lot, so much so that it seems that he is possessed by the problem that worries him, then he/she is crossing the limits. Anything beyond limits is injurious to health.  Worrying a lot is harmful to the body. It is better to stay and enjoy the life in the present rather than spoil it by worrying of the future that is beyond our control and uncertain.

3.      Just for today (Kyo Dake wa ) Be grateful ( Kansha shite): Be grateful for what you have gone through. Think of a situation worse than your present situation. Be thankful and grateful for not being in that worse situation. Gratefulness is a feeling from within and depends on your inner and true intentions. Simple acts of gratefulness such as being thankful, showing  gratitude, act of forgiveness, good words and smile can not only  make you feel better but also motivate the recipient of these actions.

4.       Just for today (Kyo Dake wa ) Work hard (Goo hage me)

Everyone is aware of the principle ‘Live and let others live’. This principle means that we should stick to our own task and work. We should not cause harm to others. One should sustain self and his family though respectable means of livelihood. One should work hard and be honest. Honesty has two dimensions: honesty with reference to the situations without and honesty with reference to your inner self. For a respectable and honorable life one should work hard and be honest from within.

5.      Just for today (Kyo Dake wa ) Be kind to others  (Hito ni shinsetsu ni): Kindness is a positive feeling  that has to be expressed  every living being around you especially your parents, teachers and elders. Show your love and respect to things that are worth it. Replace the fear with love.
