Acupuncture Produces Amazing Results In Reversing Infertility

03.04.2010 · Posted in Acupuncture, Chinese Health

acupuncture-techniqueAcupuncture is the procedure of inserting and manipulating filiform needles into various points on the body to relieve pain or for therapeutic purposes.
In the early 1900s, only a few Western physicians who had visited China were fascinated by acupuncture, but outside of Asian-American communities it remained virtually unknown until the 1970s, when Richard Nixon became the first U.S. president to visit China.
Acupuncture is a good available treatment for infertility. But as you’ll see here, it’s actually one of the safest and most effectiveness treatments for infertility known to modern science. This is what people go for when nothing works, including medicines.
Why does it work so well? Because infertility isn’t usually Any physical problem. It’s often an issue related to circulation or energy channels that govern the vitality of your body’s organs (including reproductive organs). Rebalancing those bioelectric channels can create enormous healing changes in the function of your reproductive organs.

Acupuncture is non-invasive, surprisingly. The needles themselves are virtually painless and barely enter the skin. That’s a huge contrast to the highly invasive (and embarrassing) probing, inserting, extracting, injecting and poking around typically undertaken by conventional infertility clinics.

A study found that auricular acupuncture was capable of producing results comparable to those of drug therapy in the treatment of infertility.
Chinese acupuncture has been used in the treatment of infertility for centuries. The first published account of this is seen in medical literature dating back to 11 A.D. The Chinese look at five principal organs – the liver, spleen, heart, lung, and kidney – and use acupuncture to release blockages from these systems so that energy or chi can move freely. This helps the body return to good health. Promoting fertility is one benefit that can be obtained. Acupuncture to kidney points releases psychological blocks that interfere with reproduction.

Twenty-two pregnancies and no side effects! Finally, a study at the Fertility Clinic Trianglen in Denmark concluded that acupuncture significantly improves the reproductive outcome of IVF (in vitro fertilization) and ICSI (intra cytoplasmic sperm injection) compared to no acupuncture. The best of all, acupuncture for infertility is truly a whole person treatment that looks at the woman as much more than just a dysfunctional reproductive system.

The term “acupuncture” describes a family of procedures involving the stimulation of anatomical points on the body using a variety of techniques. The acupuncture technique that has been most often studied scientifically involves penetrating the skin with thin, solid, metallic needles that are manipulated by the hands or by electrical stimulation.
Acupuncture, frequently combined with herbal medicine, has been used for centuries to treat some causes of infertility. For example, acupuncture and herbs will not work to address tubal adhesions which can occur as a result of pelvic inflammatory disease or endometriosis. However, in this situation, an individual could still benefit from acupuncture and herbs because of the potential effect of improved ovarian and follicular function. Additionally, it is shown that acupuncture can increase blood flow to the endometrium, helping to facilitate a thick, rich lining.

Acupuncture Improves Sex Drive And Decreases Hot Flashes

02.16.2010 · Posted in Acupuncture

acupuncture-techniqueAcupuncture treatment is effective at boosting the sex drive and overall sense of well-being in women undergoing intensive breast cancer treatments. A recent study conducted by Henry Ford Hospital in Michigan revealed that acupuncture has even more benefits than previously thought for patients with breast cancer.
In the journal of Oncology, the study highlights the superiority of acupuncture in improving the quality of life. The Women Patients suffering from breast cancer without imposing side effects, acupuncture has helped in improving cancer.
Dr. Eleanor Walker, lead author of the study and division director of breast services in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Henry Ford, confirmed this to be true when explaining the details of the study.
There are two groups, one receiving acupuncture for the symptoms and the other receiving Veklafaxine drug therapy, were observed over a 12 week period. Initially, all the women experienced a 50 percent reduction in hot flash and night sweat symptoms. At the end of the treatment period, however, the group that received Veklafaxine experienced an immediate increase in symptoms while the acupuncture group did not.
The intention of the study was to focus on alternative treatments to Veklafaxine that would better alleviate the negative side effects of the breast cancer treatment and ultimately encourage women to continue participating in it.
Since conventional treatment is long and difficult, researchers hope to alleviate some of the associated misery with methods other than drug therapies that only make the situation more difficult. As far as the National Cancer Institute is concern, 13%of women will develop breast cancer during their lifetime.
Another clinical study scientifically demonstrates the power of acupuncture to make real, measureable improvements in the health and lives of patients.
Acupuncture has been used safely and effectively for over five thousand years in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It’s no surprise, of course: hundreds of clinical trials conducted over the last twenty years have shown it to be remarkably safe and effective. Acupuncture is very effective treating a variety of health complaints from back pain to infertility.
It works because the body reacts to stimulation with a healing response. This is actually the part of the reason acupuncture works. An acupuncturist who is very skilled can initiate a healing response in the patient that no drug, no medical surgery or medical invention can.
This is the biggest interesting part of acupuncture treatment: It doesn’t do any healing. Acupuncture will stimulate the body naturally, rather. This actually never happens in the medicines. The medicines actually continue to follow the long-outmoded belief that the doctor heals the patient and that, astonishingly, the patient has no role in his or her own healing.
Acupuncturists had known thousands of years ago what many westerns did not know. The patient is the healer. The doctor is merely an initiator of the patient’s own self-healing ability.

It is used for the treatment of general pain, digestion problems, insomnia and many more.

Needles are mainly used for acupuncture medication; I am sure hearing needles there are some questions popped up in your head, like does it hurt? What types of needles are used? What’s the duration?. Well it is quite surprising that needles used for acupuncture are very thin, use of these pins does not hurt u more than a feeling of a slight pinch. The duration varies; depending upon the type of treatment generally it is within the range of ten to thirty minutes. One feels relaxed after an acupuncture treatment its advisable to rest for few minutes before carrying on for your rest of the day.

There are mainly two type of acupuncture related high blood pressure cures. Traditional and electro-acupuncture, lets discuss them one by one. traditional method involves using herbs with needles, usually herbs like Tian Ma [Gastrodia Rhizome], Xia Ku Cao [Prunella] and Shan Zha are used to reduce high blood pressure, these herbs are injected in your body and then the needles are used on critical and strategic locations on your body mainly on wrist.

Second method, which is more popular on how to treat high blood pressure is this. In this process acupuncture combined with electric stimulation or electro-acupuncture is used to lower elevations of the blood pressure. Electro-acupuncture is nothing but adding electric stimulation to the needles, which will make the electric flowing from the needle to the body. It is observed that low frequencies of electro stimulation reduced blood pressure effectively. Inserting needles excites the brain cells making them release neurotransmitter that enhances the heart activities. To cure high blood pressure the needles are inserted either on wrist, forearm or leg, to excite the opioid chemicals in the brain and reduce excitatory responses of the cardiovascular systems. This ultimately decrease in heart activity and need for oxygen which results in lowering blood pressure to a significant level.

There is a simple and unique treatment procedure for high blood pressure, which is pressing the sink at at    back of your hand with the help of your thumb and index figure.

asthma-inhaler1Acupuncture is technique where the tin needles are inserted into the specific points on the body to relieve pain or for therapeutic purpose. Acupuncture is a treatment originating from traditional Chinese medicine. Acupuncture is one of the oldest and most widespread techniques. It is a treatment where the energy flows through the human body in opposing positive and negative forces. Energy flows through a certain path that is called as meridian. When the person is suffering from any disease including asthma, are thought to represent an imbalance of these forces. By introducing needles into the skin at certain recognized points alongside these meridians, the balance of these forces is considered to be customized with to the advantage of the patient. The needles are placed just under the skin and are rotated manually. Acupuncture causes a deep sensation of warmth and numbness at the site.

Remedies for asthma
In asthma the person is having difficulty in breathing, many medications are available, but rather than having advantages they are having more side effects.

Just we will look on the functions of some parts of our body. Lungs aids in controlling the movement of water in the middle part of the body, spleen regulates water in middle part of the body and kidney facilitates water in lower part of the body. If any disturbance occurs in negative and positive forces the water circulation will get blocked and this will lead to blockade for producing and storing phlegm in the lungs. The blocked water and Phlegm is responsible for further asthma problems.

The increase in stored phlegm in the lungs will create a problem in all the three organs that is lungs, spleen and kidney by obstructing the airways. As due to phlegm storage the lungs will not get enough oxygen that will lead to deficiency in the kidneys and that will pass on to the spleen becoming deficient and overall there will be an increase in the level of phlegm which will obstruct the airways. So the imbalance is created, because on one hand the phlegm increases and on the other hand the amount of air or oxygen intake decreases.
Asthma could be due to a array of circumstances and depending upon the type of asthma, acupuncture for asthma treatment will be modified and carried out.

Here are some of the Acupuncture remedies with help of that a person get relief from asthma.
If asthma is caused due to cold then by using acupuncture one can remove the phlegm and also involves sedating the lungs. The main acupoints include lungs, kidney and bladder at specific key points.

If asthma is caused due to heat involves dispersing the phlegm from the lungs. By decreasing the harmful energy generated from various trigger points like the liver.
